Password Policy

Password Construction Requirements
Length - at least 11 characters
Complexity - at least 3 different types of characters:
  • uppercase letters
  • lowercase letters
  • numbers or symbols
Additional Requirements
  • must be different from the 3 previous passwords used
  • may not contain any part of your name or login id
Password Expiration
Passwords must be changed at least every 90 days
Account Lockout
- Accounts will lock automatically after 6 failed login attempts with an incorrect password
- Accounts will unlock automatically 30 minutes after the last failed login attempt was made
- Help Desk can unlock accounts upon request after account ownership is verified
Password Reset
- Use the Password Reset Form to request a password reset
(password reset instructions will be emailed to the personal email address you have on file with the school)
